KE New Connection Required Documents:

There are some specific documents that you need to apply for a new connection whether you are applying for a residential or industrial connection. If you are applying for a new residential connection you need to understand whether you are applying for Below 80 KW / Non-Scheme or Above 80 Scheme. The only difference between these two are:

For Below 80 KW/Non-Scheme:

  • Ownership Document (required if it’s a leased area)

Commercial KE New Connection:

If you are applying for a new commercial KE connection, the above process is almost the same. As mentioned earlier, you need to understand both schemes:

For Below 80 KW/Non-Scheme:

KE New Meter Connection Fee:

The estimated connection fee for a single-phase meter is Rs. 8500 to 11,000 while if you are applying for a 3-phase meter the cost can vary from Rs. 35,000 to 50,000
